DC Will Never Find As Good a Casting As Henry Cavill
With the initial role of portraying Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, the world was introduced to Henry Cavill. Over the years, the fans developed quite a liking for Cavill’s version of Superman and even vouched for him when it all went down in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
Having not appeared properly in DC for quite a while, the fans had been wondering about his contract with the studios and whether they had removed the Immortals actor or not. The Witcher actor finally made a cameo appearance in Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam only for James Gunn and Peter Safran to depart him completely from the DCU a few months later.
It all started after James Gunn replied to a Twitter account that he has not yet decided who to cast for the role of Superman. According to the director, the script is not even close to finishing and will take quite some time.
Fans of Henry Cavill and DC replied to the director with hateful words and curses such that he may never find another Cavill again.
The tweets also mentioned people’s latest movement of letting Zack Snyder finish his Justice League trilogy by DC selling the rights to Netflix! With Snyder’s upcoming magnum opus Rebel Moon having a sneak peek released, the fans have been rejoicing in the director’s success even more.
Henry Cavill Met With Star Wars Writer For Warhammer?
Henry Cavill was recently spotted with Gary Whitta, the co-writer of Rouge One: A Star Wars Story. The duo had taken their photo together which Gary proceeded to upload on his Instagram. The caption for the post read, “Just a couple of Brit gaming nerds hanging out in LA”. It is no surprise that the Enola Holmes actor is creating his own universe based on the Warhammer 40,000 game series.
This could potentially tease Gary Whitta’s involvement in writing the script for Cavill’s upcoming universe. Although speculated, the fans eagerly await any updates regarding what Henry Cavill plans to bring into his universe.
