A rescue team received a call about an injured dog wandering in a nearby area. This was no ordinary search. The stray dog didn’t just need to be rescued from the street. It had to be rescued to survive. The stray dog had a pitcher on its head, preventing it from eating and drinking. The poor dog could hardly breathe!
Rescuers tried to catch the puppy, but the dog kept running until it hid under a bridge and gasped for breath. Rescuers had to give the puppy human tranquilizers. After being shot with an arrow, the puppy ran away again, but this time towards a busy street. Cars whizzed by, honking their horns. Rescuers chased him. When the anesthesia worked, the tired dog lay down and waited for help.
Finally, the dog was gently lifted up and the container was removed from its head with a special tool. The dog was dazed and very sleepy, but still managed to show his gratitude to the rescuers by giving them a few kisses. Now in good hands, the dog was placed in their vehicle. They took him back to the shelter. He was so happy to find a real meal and a bowl of fresh water. The rescue group shared his story on social media and adopters lined up to meet him.
In a few days he found his forever home!
The story below is about another dog in a similar situation. Stray animals are so desperate for food that it is not uncommon for them to get their heads stuck in a jar. Heartbreaking to say the least. This poor dog has been walking around with his head stuck in a plastic jug for over two weeks!
The rescue team also had to catch him after he escaped several times. Fortunately, they managed to catch him in a large field. Finally, he surrendered to kind people because he didn’t have much energy left. They also used a special product and freed him from the container. Now he is safe and back in the shelter. We are so grateful that both our dogs are safe!
