And it appears that the people’s champion is also a fanboy of another Hollywood legend and The Rock hasn’t shied away to showcase his admiration for his role model.

Even though Dwayne Johnson is currently the biggest movie star in Hollywood, the actor hasn’t shied away from sharing his respect and love for the indomitable and charming Clint Eastwood. The Rock revealed that Clint Eastwood is the only man-crush of the actor and back in 2013, he wrote a letter for Eastwood, portraying his love for the actor. The actor went on to state,
“I wrote him a letter recently, He’s been such an inspiration to me (and) I just wanted to take the time to write him a letter…I know that he received it, and in the letter, it wasn’t, ‘Hey, here’s my number, please call me’, it was, ‘I want you to know that you’re my inspiration’, that was it.”
The Rock also had a nervous fanboy moment with his idol back during the Oscars, when the actor became nervous after witnessing his idol upfront. According to contact music, during the Red Carpet of the Oscars, Dwayne Johnson came across Clint Eastwood and was left speechless. Johnson described the situation by stating, “And then I froze. I completely froze.”

The WWE champion has also paid homage to Eastwood in his 2010 action movie Faster, where Johnson revealed that he took inspiration for the film from Clint Eastwood’s movies. And in recent times, the actor shared his love for Eastwood in his action flick Black Adam, where the movie references the iconic stand-off sequence from The Good, the bad, and the Ugly.
