Not only dominating in terms of penetrating the opponent’s net, Erling Haaland also makes fans excited by a rare habit. Since joining Manchester City, the former Borussia Dortmund striker has become addicted to raw carrots.
Even when driving home after each practice session, Haaland has to “handle” at least one raw carrot. The image of the Norwegian player deliciously eating his favorite tuber is no stranger to Green Man fans.
Recently, after Man City’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal, Haaland appeared with a similar appearance. The striker born in 2000 just sat behind the wheel and signed autographs for fans, but his mouth still did not leave the carrot.

In fact, carrots are more than just Haaland’s favorite snack. It’s just one part of the Nordic striker’s incredible scientific diet.
Thanks to advice from nutritionists, Haaland strictly adheres to the substances loaded into the body. In particular, vitamin A in carrots is a very important component.
In the documentary “Haaland: Important Decision”, the 22-year-old striker revealed. “I’m interested in taking care of my body and using locally sourced food. People often say not to eat a lot of meat because it’s not good. But what kind of meat? Meat consumed in chain restaurants fast or from a cow that’s been grazed in the wild? I’d rather eat the heart and liver.”
Joshua King – Haaland’s teammate in the Norwegian team – once said he was overwhelmed by Haaland’s eating power. Former Bournemouth striker confirmed. “Haaland eats like a bear. He’s a freak. I’ve never seen anyone eat so much.”
Like many professional footballers, Haaland has his own chef and usually serves up at least six meals a day. Haaland’s meals often have a variety of vegetables, lots of fish, chicken breast as well as pasta, minimizing salt or cooking oil. The Man City striker also usually only uses filtered water, fresh food, and avoids food – alcohol, sugar and frozen food.
Eating a lot is like that, but Haaland still regularly reduces 6,000 calories a day through training and competition to maintain the best shape.
