Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus was caught on camera taking a driving lesson outside the club’s training ground on Tuesday by his hysterical Gunners team-mate Jorginho.
Gabriel Jesus left Jorginho in tears after the Arsenal midfielder spotted his team-mate on a driving lesson outside the club’s training ground.
Jorginho filmed Jesus in his instructor’s car outside the Gunner’s London Colney base on Tuesday before uploading the footage to social media. In the clip, he can be heard laughing his head off and calling Jesus’ name as he approaches the car, prompting the Brazilian to wind down his window and put his thumb up to the camera.
Both Jesus and the instructor can be seen smiling as Jorginho asks: “What you doing?” Jesus replies: “Driving lesson,” before the former Chelsea star wishes him “good luck”.
Jorginho was not the only one to be left in hysterics by Jesus’ driving lessons, with fans also amused by seeing the Arsenal forward behind the wheel.
One supporter wrote: “Say swear he can’t drive wtf.” Another fan commented: “I’d have kept the window up, I can’t lie.” A third added: “Taking Jesus take the wheel to another level.” Meanwhile, one more also said: “Jorginho is a funny geezer.”
Jesus is currently continuing his recovery from a knee injury he suffered playing for Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar and was pictured back in training last month.
The 25-year-old scored five goals and provided seven assists in 20 appearances across all competitions after arriving from Manchester City in the summer prior to being sidelined with injury.
In his absence, Eddie Nketiah has starred in attack for Mikel Arteta’s side, whilst Jesus could face further competition for a starting berth next season.
Arsenal continue to be linked with Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, who has issued a “come and get me” plea to Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Jesus will hope to return to action with the Gunners still top of the league, having maintained their five-point advantage over City with a dramatic victory at the weekend.
Arsenal came back from 2-0 down to beat Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, sealing a 3-2 win with a 97th minute winner from Reiss Nelson.
