He plays one of Hollywood’s most musclebound heroes, but even Chris Hemsworth needs to sleep sometimes.
But the Australian actor was not alone in his quest for shuteye when he was secretly snapped sweetly cuddling his daughter India, four, and one of his two-year-old twin boys on a plane.
His wife Elsa Pataky shared the cute family mile-high naptime on Instagram, the latest in a series of fatherhood moments captured when Chris was not looking.

‘Nothing better than sleeping in papa’s arms!’ she wrote to her 780,000 followers on Friday.
The photo shows India fast asleep resting on his bulging chest while one of the boys wraps his arms around his dad’s neck and sleeps on his shoulder.
The sleeping Thor actor lies back in his reclined airline seat and wraps his huge arms around his kids, interlocking his fingers so they don’t fall.
In the midst of the touching scene, a half-eaten Smiths original chip packet is nestled between the two youngsters.
The family appear to be going on holiday before Chris begins filming Thor: Ragnarok on the Gold Coast next month.
The 32-year-old is known for doing his best to balance his hectic filming schedule with his growing family, frequently seen carrying them around or going on family outings.
Last month he played the hero at home when a bakery didn’t finish India’s birthday cake on time, whipping up the dinosaur-shaped treat himself in the kitchen of his Byron Bay home.
The T-Rex-shaped cake was a perfect replica of his daughter’s beloved soft toy, complete with green icing, glitter and smarties for extra detail.
He captioned a picture of his effort ‘What happens when the bakery says they don’t have time to make your daughter a birthday cake?
‘You get involved and smash one out yourself ! I call it “La TRex al la chocolate’.’
Recently Chris’s Spanish actress wife Pataky shared a cute snap of the hunky star doting on his daughter in the kitchen after the premier of his movie The Huntsman: Winter’s War in LA.
Wearing a white shirt, a grey tie and trousers from his evening promoting his movie, Chris was seen whisking eggs in a bowl, while his little girl watched on, perched on the bench top.
The Fast and The Furious actress captioned the snap: ‘Papa making some late snack after premiere,’ adding the hash-tags including ‘jetlag’, ‘yummy’, ‘papa chef’ and ‘best moments’.
The former Home And Away actor started dating Elsa in early 2010, and they tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in December that year.
The family splashed out on a $7.2 million property in Byron Bay, on the NSW North Coast in September 2014.
Chris has previously made no secret of wanting his children to grow up Down Under.
‘We’re spending more and more time back in Australia and I definitely want the kids to grow up here and spend time here,’ he said.
‘We were in California a lot I missed it here and my wife missed it too so that was our goal to get back here.’
He has also previously explained that he no longer needs to live in Los Angeles to secure work, having established a reputation as a leading man.
