Apart from movie stars, it is footballers around the world that have an affinity for insane car collections. Look at any given soccer player’s car collection, and it will be a fusion of sports cars, supercars, SUVs, and even one-offs. But Chelsea’s star and the 2022 FIFA World Cup captain for the US team Christian Pulisic’s car collection is different from what you would expect to see from a famous footballer.
It sure has variety but is very petite. But despite having about eight known cars in his collection, the variety is quite interesting as Pulisic has a taste of everything in his collection ranging from one of the most powerful American muscle cars to a fierce Italian Prancing Horse. He is a fan of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, and it happens to be the only SUV in his lot. Christian Pulisic adores sports cars, especially those with a rich history.
And that is what he sticks to when in the UK. As for the cars that he owns across the pond, in his home country; It is anyone’s guess! He is quite secretive on social media and the only vehicle-related post that he has on Instagram is of a golf cart! So, with the bits and pieces, we have managed to accumulate from across the web, here’s the American soccer player’s small yet desirable car collection.
Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic loves fast cars in all shapes and sizes; as his tiny yet cool car collection indicates.
American Muscle Love With Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Christian Pulisic might have gone across the pond to play for Chelsea, but his true American spirit is very much alive as he owns a fierce pony car. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is one of the most ferocious pony cars that has ever been made. Packing a 5.2-Liter supercharged V8 capable of 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque, this beast is guaranteed to put a grin on Pulisic’s face every single time! And we guess he is never going to part ways with this mad machine.
He most likely owns a 2020 or 2021 model and has a custom all-black theme. It also seems to flaunt the $10,000 Carbon Fiber Handling Package which adds 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels, adjustable strut-top mounts for the suspension, and additional aerodynamic bits. Despite power being sent to only the rear wheels only via a seven-speed automatic gearbox, Pulisic’s Mustang Shelby GT500 is capable of doing 0-60 mph in about 3.5 seconds.
A Sporty Taste In Brits With The McLaren 570S
McLaren
Being in the UK, it is expected of Pulisic to fall in love with British cars. And so he did, with one of the finest, Great Britain has to offer. He owns a bright orange McLaren 570S with an interesting “Mercurial” decal on the doors. The last production year for this wild McLaren was 2020 after which its spot was taken over by the enticing McLaren Artura.
The 570S is powered by a 3.8-Liter twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. And this fierce Brit is capable of doing 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds and can top out at 204 mph. Not bad Christian! Not bad at all!
A Brutish Taste In Germans With The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG
Mercedes-Benz
The only known SUV to find its place in Pulisic’s car collection is the brutish Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. He owns a 2012-2018 G63 AMG which was the most modern and last iteration that (believe it or not) was still based on the first-ever G-Class from the 70s and 80s! Pulisic’s G63 AMG packs a 5.5-Liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns out 563 hp to all four wheels.
The G-Class has always been known to be a luxurious tank, and defy physics. The interior is plush in the good old Mercedes-Benz style, and we are sure that this is the only car in Christian Pulisic’s collection that he drives about without the slightest tension!
Pulisic Also Owns A Porsche 911 Cabriolet And A Ferrari F12tdf
Porsche
While not much is known about these two cars, Pulisic has been seen at various events in a black Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. It can be either the base model or the sportier Carrera S Cabriolet trim. Either way, we adore him for his choice of sports cars. The base 911 Cabriolet packs in 350 hp and the S model gets 400 hp. Both are coupled to a seven-speed manual gearbox and drive the rear wheels. A seven-speed PDK automatic is available, but it sure is the stick shift that shines forth.
Pulisic is also rumored to own a Ferrari F12tdf. But not much is known of this car of his, and he hasn’t been spotted out in the wild too. We suspect the American soccer star to have reserved this iconic and wild stallion for track days. Where else would the F12tdf get enough tarmac to flex all of its aggression and 769 horses?! The F12tdf is a hardcore, F1-derived racecar in disguise and despite being over 7 years old, it still gives the chills with looks.
Christian Pulisic Has A Small But Fine Car Collection
It is not always that a person can explore the whole automobile palette with just under 10 cars. But Christian Pulisic with his interestingly small yet vibrant car collection has done it. As we mentioned earlier, Pulisic doesn’t flaunt his machines much. And that leaves us bewildered about what he might have in his garage back in the US. Classic American muscle cars? Japanese luxury cars? Who knows! But we are sure that it won’t disappoint motorheads.
Chelsea player makes exciting Christian Pulisic comment after Leicester City win
Christian Pulisic before the Leicester City game
Christian Pulisic has been welcomed back to action by Chelsea this week, with the USA international featuring in two big wins for the Blues in successive games.
He came on as a substitute in midweek, coming off the bench to help the Blues secure victory against his former club Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Pulisic was on the bench again against Leicester City in the league on Saturday, being handed 18 minutes by Potter as he ramps up his return.
The 24-year-old suffered a knee injury against Manchester City in January and has just returned, with his comeback coinciding with the Blues’ return to form. The team have now won three matches in a row, hoping to put a tough post-World Cup period behind them with their new found positivity.
This is reflected in Pulisic’s social media activity, with the USA international posting after the match on Instagram. The post has two photos from the Leicester win, with the caption: “Solid week “.
However, the most positive part for Chelsea fans will be the positive messages he has received from his teammates, showing the popularity the winger clearly has among his teammates. Marc Cucurella led the support, commenting on the post ‘CP is back’ with a flame emoji.
Both Kalidou Koulibaly and Trevor Chalobah also left messages for the player, showing a unity among the players despite what has been an extremely tough couple of months for the West London club.
