Chris Hemsworth is a bona-fide Hollywood star and is recognised wherever he goes.
But now the 32-year-old’s eldest daughter India Rose, three, is beginning to recognise him on screen and the doting father seems to be the one marvelling at it.
Speaking to entertainment guru Richard Wilkins on the Today show, the father-of-three revealed his little girl sees him as Thor and says ‘that’s dad’ but doesn’t fully comprehend his A-List status.

‘It’s weird – my daughter can see Thor and go” that’s dad”, or papa or whatever she chooses to call me,’ he said with a smile.
‘But I don’t know if she comprehends what it is – have I disappeared into the box or what?,’ he added.
The Marvel superhero also explained that also juggling life with young twin boys, Sasha and Tristan, ‘makes it difficult’ when preparing for a movie at home.
‘My daughter, I’ll be running lines and she’ll be like “why are you talking to yourself”? and trying to explain that to a three-year-old is impossible,’ he laughed.

Promoting his upcoming film In The Heart Of The Sea and the charity screening for his The Australian Childhood Foundation, the actor opened up about moving his family back Down Under permanently.
Chris and his Spanish-born wife Elsa Pataky have a rule of not being apart any longer than two to three weeks, which made life difficult when three children came into the picture.
‘The more we travel and once we had kids, it got more and more chaotic and logistically, cots and prams and endless bags and kids, you know,
‘So, to kind of be in one place is important and what better place to come home to,’ Chris quipped of his new retreat in Byron Bay.

The Audi ambassador will appear at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter in Sydney from 5pm on Tuesday for the black carpet screening of his new flick, raising funds for his charity at the same time – an event one year in the making.
‘We wanted to have an event and put a spotlight on child abuse and raise money for the cause and it was a nice tie in for the movie,’ he told Richard.
And as Chris kicks off the press tour for the Ron Howard directed blockbuster, he revealed he’ll cross paths with his younger brother Liam Hemsworth ‘in some obscure continent’ while the 25-year-old does press for The Hunger Games franchise.
