Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has reportedly told Dele Alli to watch the remainder of their season from the stands.
Alli joined the Turkish side on a season-long loan from Everton last summer, but has failed to impress.
Dele Alli has endured a difficult time since joining Besiktas
The 26-year-old has found game time limited and is out of favour
The 26-year-old has started just 15 games in the league, netting twice, and was absent during recent victories over Ankaragucu and Istanbul Basaksehir.
Turkish outlet Takvim have since revealed Gunes has ousted Alli from his matchday squads for the remainder of the campaign.
Alli is now expected to sit out, and then eventually return to his parent club Everton at the end of the season.
The former Tottenham attacker has found game time limited, making just two substitute appearances since October.
Gunes previously hit out at Alli in November, pulling him off at half-time against Umraniyespor, and then again against Sanliurfaspor in the Turkish Cup in December.
He was later given another chance by the 70-year-old in January, netting and producing a man-of-the-match display in a 3-0 win over Alanyaspor.
Alli left Everton in the summer to try and resurrect his career
Besiktas, though, are reportedly desperate to send him back to Everton, with Alli’s career continuing to go in a downward spiral.
It certainly has been challenging times for the 37-capped England international, since falling out of favour at Tottenham.
Most likely heading back to Everton in the summer, it remains to be seen where he will end up next after his Besiktas nightmare is drawn to a close.
The Turkish side are currently third in the Super Lig standings, 14 points adrift off league leaders Galatasaray.
