Manchester City and England winger is currently enjoying a well-earned Christmas getaway in New York City with his long-term partner Sasha Attwood ahead of his return
Jack Grealish’s Home Alone adventure in New York City has left fans praising the “adorable” England ace.
The Manchester City winger is enjoying some time off following the World Cup before he returns to training with his club and is currently on holiday in the Big Apple with his partner Sasha Attwood. He has kept his fans updated during his trip as he expressed his joy at visiting the city where the Christmas classic Home Alone 2: Lost in New York took place.
In a series of posts on his Instagram story, Grealish explained how happy he was to be in the city at this time of year.
“If you know me you know how much I love Christmas and Home Alone,” wrote the former Aston Villa star. “So absolutely buzzing I could come to New York at Christmas time and basically just see everyone where Kevin went.”
So far he has shared snaps from Central Park and opposite the famous New York Christmas tree. He has also been to the Plaza Hotel, where Macaulay Culkin’s character stays after being separated from his family in the flick.
Fans have been loving Grealish’s holiday content on social media, with one tweeting: “So happy Jack Grealish got his Home Alone New York experience.”
Another added: “Jack Grealish being in New York and feeling like he’s in Home Alone is so cute. What a guy.” A third wrote: “Obsessed with the new Home Alone 6 which is Jack Grealish in New York.”
One more also commented: “Everyone’s favourite Jack Grealish is in New York and his insta stories are all visits to the places in Home Alone could he be any more adorable???”
Grealish has received time off following his exploits for England at the World Cup in Qatar, where he scored once in five appearances for the Three Lions.
Meanwhile, City return to competitive action on Thursday as they take on Liverpool in the fourth round of this season’s Carabao Cup.
Pep Guardiola’s side will play their first Premier League match after the World Cup break a week on Wednesday when they travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
