Jennifer Lawrence said she has suffered two miscarriages, with one of them happening while the star was alone.
The Oscar-winning actress, who welcomed her son Cy back in February, said the first miscarriage happened while she was in her early twenties. The other occurred while she was filming Netflix’s Don’t Look Up.
The 32-year-old, had planned on getting an abortion when she first fell pregnant. Before she could, Jennifer “had a miscarriage alone in Montreal,” she told Vogue in an interview for their October 2022 issue.
She said she had to undergo a surgical procedure for her second miscarriage to remove tissue from her uterus.

The Hunger Games Star told the publication she found it difficult to imagine young women with limited options forced into unwanted pregnancies.
Reflecting on the decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade, Jennifer said: “I remember a million times thinking about it while I was pregnant.
“Thinking about the things that were happening to my body. And I had a great pregnancy. I had a very fortunate pregnancy.
“But every single second of my life was different. And it would occur to me sometimes: What if I was forced to do this?”
Jennifer became a new mum earlier this year after she welcomed her first child into the world with husband Cooke Maroney, 37.
After keeping her pregnancy a secret until September last year, J-Law announced the pair were expecting their first child together and had even joked in December that the couple had enjoyed “tons of sex” since she took a break from acting.
Jennifer has previously confessed to Vanity Fair that she plans to keep her baby out of the public eye.
Speaking to the publication, she said: “If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’
“But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.
“I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”
