The Brazilian star is still recovering from his ankle injury
Neymar continues with his recovery of his right ankle after the injury that forced the Brazilian to undergo surgery in Qatar earlier this month on the recommendation of Paris Saint-Germain doctors.
The Brazilian star shared on his social networks a video in which, with Bob Marley’s well-known song ‘Three Little Birds’ in the background, he shows the development of his right ankle in the midst of rehabilitation.
In the video, it can be seen that Neymar is wearing small bandages placed on the injured area while a hand, probably from his physiotherapist, helps him by making small movements back and forth.
Neymar, operated on in Qatar
Neymar underwent surgery on March 10 in Qatar on his right ankle ligament injury, an operation that “went very well”, as announced by his club PSG.
The surgery took place at the ASPETR clinic in Doha and was performed by three doctors, one of whom was Rodrigo Lasmar of the Brazilian national team, PSG said in a statement.
Neymar’s ordeal
Neymar has been out for approximately 731 days during his time at PSG, i.e. two full years, taking into account the time he has been out for this latest injury. The Brazilian arrived in the discipline of the Parisian side in the 2017/18 season, so the 10 has missed every other season in which he has played for PSG.
From a competitive standpoint, Neymar has missed a total of 104 games in a PSG shirt. The Brazilian has played 173 matches across all competitions, meaning the Brazil captain has been injured in approximately 37.5 percent of the matches in which he has been available for the Parisian club.
