LIONEL MESSI has received messages of support from fans who are worried about his sunburn — with one claiming he looks like a “red bell pepper”.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, 32, has been enjoying a break from football after Argentina were knocked out of the Copa America at the semi-final stage.

The Barcelona icon appeared with his father Jorge and a host of relatives on a sunny beach in Antigua.
Users on Instagram commented how he looked like a “red bell pepper” while another said he was “redder than a mandrill’s a**.”
Another nicknamed Messi “the prawn”.
Either way, the red-hot Argentina star does not seem to care.
Especially given he enjoyed a random kickabout with North London youngster Mackenzie O’Neill and two of his sons.
He also posed for a picture in the sea with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, 31, who is mother to Leo’s three children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro.
She wrapped her arm around her husband – who has now been hit with a ban for accusing Copa America chiefs of cheating – at the stunning sandy resort with crystal clear waters.
Messi missed Barcelona’s 2-1 pre-season defeat to Chelsea as new £107.6million team-mate Antoine Griezmann made his non-competitive debut.
Barca have also signed £65m Frenkie de Jong from Ajax, while they are being tipped for a move for former star Neymar.
Messi’s club are set to play games against Vissel Kobe, Arsenal and a double-header versus Napoli in the United States, before the club begin their defence of their La Liga title.
