Ariana Grande appeared on Instagram over the weekend to acknowledge the tenth anniversary of her and her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller‘s song The Way.
The 29-year-old music artist — who recently collaborated with The Weeknd — reposted the music video, which was originally shared by a fan account, in her Instagram Stories.
The Florida-born musician wrote along the bottom in tiny white font: ‘I love you.’
The caption on the account, @honeymoonavenue, read, ‘‘the way (feat. mac miller)’ was released 10 YEARS AGO today!!’
Ariana doubled down on her words as she also appeared in the comments section to write again, ‘I love you.’

Ariana and the Pittsburgh-raised rap artist dated from September 2016 until May 2018.
When they broke up, Ariana began dating comedian Pete Davidson shortly after and the twosome quickly became engaged.
Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, died suddenly later that year on September 7 after an accidental drug overdose.
Davidson and Grande called it quits the following month, ending their high-profile engagement as Ariana mourned.
The former Nickelodeon sensation later poured her heart into her album Thank U, Next, which addressed both relationships.
At the time she told Vogue, ‘My friends know how much solace music brings me, so I think it was an all-around, let’s-get-her-there type situation.
‘But if I’m completely honest, I don’t remember those months of my life because I was (a) so drunk and (b) so sad.’
The entertainer openly added, ‘I don’t really remember how it started or how it finished, or how all of a sudden there were 10 songs on the board.’
The petite pop princess went on, ‘I think that this is the first album and also the first year of my life where I’m realizing that I can no longer put off spending time with myself, just as me.
‘I’ve been boo’d up my entire adult life. I’ve always had someone to say goodnight to,’ she reflected.
‘So Thank U, Next was this moment of self-realization. It was this scary moment of “Wow, you have to face all this stuff now. No more distractions. You have to heal all this shit.”‘

And the megastar spoke openly about the late artist’s battle with addiction as she described, ‘By no means was what we had perfect, but, like, f***.
‘He was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had. I was the glue for such a long time, and I found myself becoming … less and less sticky. The pieces just started to float away.’
Grande went on to begin a romance with real estate mogul Dalton Gomez in 2020.
The singer announced that she was engaged via Instagram in December that year. The couple tied the knot in Montecito, California the following May.
