Keira Rumble had six failed pregnancies, but she did not give up and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy, describing herself as “the happiest mother in the world.”
Within three years, she attempted to conceive six times, with the last effort being the most difficult, as she endured days of severe pain.
She was bedridden for days due to the severity of her s, and when she eventually saw her doctor, they determined that she had tss and performed su.
Despite her disappointment, she had IVF, which was successful, and on July 5, she gave birth to her preterm baby, Hunter Philip Harris, who was born at 36 weeks.
She highlighted, “Now I feel incredibly close to him, even though I only held him for 30 seconds when he was born.” He was subsequently sent to the intensive care unit, where he was given 100 percent oxygen in order to live. When I initially brought him into my arms, he was covered in bruises and struggling to breathe.”
And she says, “While I loved him, I did not initially experience a unique connection with him, as I had anticipated. Even more difficult was the inability to hold and milk him.”
Yet, the happiest mother in the world claims that she wanted to share her path to parenthood in order to inspire and provide hope to all women who are attempting to conceive.
The 15th of October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and Rumble wants women who are currently trying to have children to know that they are not alone.
“After six unsuccessful pregnancies, I endured loss for two and a half years. Today, though, I am finally holding my child,” she ended.
