Apparently, Emma Watson found the scene pretty gruesome, considering she had been close like a brother to Rupert Grint.

A decade later, Emma and Rupert discussed the kiss while filming the HBO reunion special “Return To Hogwarts.”
“Our kissing was the most horrible thing we’ve ever experienced,” said Emma Watson.
Emma later revealed that the scene was meant to be a dramatic scene, but the cast just kept laughing.
He later added that the kiss was not right and he felt wrong on every level. That’s because UN Women’s ambassadors with Grint and Daniel Radcliffe are very close like brothers. So doing intimate scenes makes it like doing incest or incest scenes.
