What’s going to happen in One Piece episode 1056? Here’s a closer look at what to expect.
One Piece Episode 1055 proved to be another intense episode. After seeing Killer and Hawkins’ brilliant fight, it was time to shift focus to the other characters that were on Onigashima. In the latest One Piece episode, the focus was on Sanji, who was in a serious dilemma. After using the Raid Suit several times, his latent genetic powers finally awakened. For an ordinary person, this would have been great news, but unfortunately for Sanji, this brought his trauma back to the surface. Sanji detested his family, and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with them. So, the awakening of the powers meant that Judge’s experiment had not only succeeded but that Sanji would have to live with the body for the rest of his life.
While Sanji was still trying to come to terms with his new abilities, elsewhere X-Drake was busy fighting the Beasts Pirates. He was interrupted by Apoo, who offered him the opportunity to form an alliance. Apoo proposed that the two Supernovas would take down the last man standing. Since X-Drake was suspicious of Apoo, he turned down the offer. The episode also offered screen time to O-Tama, who was trying to escape from the fire. There was also a minor scare for Robin as Guernica, one of CP0’s top agents, was trying to capture her. Luckily, the CP0 agent was stopped by the Minks, which allowed Robin and Brook to escape.
Toward the end of the episode, Kanjuro was seen in contact with Orochi. The traitor decided to create one last drawing called Kazenbo, which was a huge spirit covered in fire. It passes through the various floors of the castle, setting anything in its path ablaze. Shortly afterward, Kanjuro finally died, leaving the Kazenbo to run amok. Considering the monster only has one goal—to destroy Onigashima—there is no doubt that it will complicate things for both the alliance and the Beasts Pirates.
Release Date
One Piece Episode 1056 is titled “A Countercharge! Law and Kid’s Return-Attack Combination.” The episode will be released on April 2, 2023. It will focus on the fight between Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid, and Big Mom. The two members of the Worst Generation were struggling to deal with the strength of the Yonko, especially since Hawkins was constantly damaging Kid’s body. However, after being freed by Killer, Kid is no longer restricted and can fight without holding back. Big Mom is known for having a very durable defense, and she cannot be hurt by normal attacks. So, the two Supernovas will have to think outside the box to damage her. They have used almost every attack in an attempt to damage Big Mom, but there is one thing that they haven’t tried yet: their devil fruit awakenings. Both the Jiki Jiki no Mi and Ope Ope no Mi are extremely potent devil fruits, and their awakenings will be even more powerful.
Since the Apoo and X-Drake storyline is also unfinished, the episode might also explore their situation and see who comes out on top between the two Worst Generation captains. There is also a small chance that the episode will probably deliver the solution to Sanji’s quandary. The Straw Hat has been constantly thinking about the possibility of becoming like one of his emotionless siblings. Judging by the episode title, it appears that the anime will take a bit longer to conclude this particular storyline. In any case, Sanji needs to overcome this obstacle; otherwise, he cannot defeat Queen. If he is unable to secure the victory, the alliance’s hopes of beating Kaido will go up in smoke.
