Speaking to Sky Sports after the Leeds United game on Sunday, Mikel Arteta said: “We can’t control what Manchester City do.
“We only need to focus on what we can control and play as well as we can to keep winning games. So far, I’m very happy.
“I don’t look at the table and the other teams. I try to be focused on ourselves and prepare for the next game. Don’t waste energy on others, just ourselves.”
Arsenal secured a convincing 4–1 win against Leeds at the Emirates at the weekend to stay eight points clear of Man City in the Premier League table.
The Gunners face Pep Guardiola’s side away from home on April 26 and the Etihad clash could potentially decide the 2022/23 title race.
