A video of Chelsea players arriving on match days and leaving training has emerged, there were some eye-catching vehicles.
The footage was captured by fans who were waiting at both Chelsea’s home ground Stamford Bridge and the club’s training base in Cobham.
It features Jorginho, who recently moved from Chelsea to Arsenal, the Italian was seen driving a bright red Ferrari.
Full-backs Ben Chilwell and Reece James drove a Lamborghini Urus and Mercedes G Wagon respectively, whilst fellow England star Mason Mount was also spotted in a Mercedes.
Kai Havertz and Wesley Fofana were seen driving a Lamborghini Urus.
One talking point was the fact that midfielder N’Golo Kante no longer drives a Mini Cooper. The Frenchman caught fans’ attention when he was spotted driving the £10,000 car during his Leicester days.
However, after all these years, he has now upgraded to a Mercedes GLE, which is worth around £70,000.
Kante’s former teammate, Antonio Rudiger explained the story behind the midfielder’s decision to drive a Mini.
He said to the Players’ Tribune in 2022: “Everything with NG [Kante] is authentic. Even the Mini Cooper — people laugh about it, but there is a real story behind it.
“It was a dream for NG to make it to the Premier League, coming from where he came from, and the Mini was the first car that he bought when he got to England. So for him, it is not just a car. It has a deep meaning.
“Of course, the boys always joke with him about it, but I am telling you — this man is so polite that he just tells you what you want to hear.
“Someone will say, ‘NG, you know what car is really cool? A Mercedes, bro. I can see you whippin’ a black Mercedes’.
“And NG will just look at them genuinely and say, ‘Yes, O.K. We will think about it. Thank you, that’s a good idea’.
“But he’s just playing with you!!! At the end of the day, you know that you’re going to be seeing that Mini at the training ground for the next 10 years.
“I tell people all the time…. There is humble. And there is humble. And then there is N’Golo.”
