It has been revealed that soccer star Lionel Messi’s mansion really makes billionaire Elon Musk look poor. Musk, in an interview, talked about his house. He apparently lives in a $45,000 house.
He said, “The house that I bought actually cost less than a boxable. It cost like $45,000 or something. But, I’ve done a lot with the place, so.”
When he was asked if it is big or small, he replied, “It’s small, it’s very small.”
On being inquired about why he bought the house, he said, “Because it was right next to rocket factory. So, I can literally just walk to rocket factory half a mile away.”
A surprising revelation was how many bedrooms he has in his $45,000 house. He said, “Technically, [it is] a three-bedroom [house]. It used to be a two-bedroom but I converted the garage into a third bedroom.”
Argentina’s World Cup-winning captain, Messi, on the other hand, owns a lavish mansion in Barcelona. The value of the mansion is estimated to be around £5.5 million ($6.87 million). According to AD, “The large private compound hosted a gym, spa, theatre, pool, a large terrace.”
The house also boasts of a personal-sized soccer field. Messi has been seen playing soccer with his young ones. A video of him playing his huge French Mastiff named Hulk had also gone viral.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk welcomes Lionel Messi to join the platform
It is a known fact that Lionel Messi does not possess a Twitter account. The Argentine does have an Instagram account and he is also the second most followed person on the social media site. The most-followed person on Instagram is none other than Messi’s arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo. On Twitter, as well, Ronaldo is one of the most followed people. He is the sixth-most followed overall and is also the most-followed athlete.
However, Ronaldo probably does not have any close competition on Twitter because Messi is not there. Fans have wanted Messi to join Twitter for a while now but can the new CEO Elon Musk help fans’ wishes come true? Well, he has welcomed him to join, so it is Messi’s move now.
A Twitter user wrote, “Hello @elonmusk, we WANT LEONEL MESSI on this platform. Please convince him to join us here. Tell him how perfect this platform has become. I’m sure he will listen to you, coz you’re both goats.”
Musk responded: “He would be welcome.”
Billionaire Musk has acquired Twitter in a deal reported to be worth around $44 billion. Since acquiring the social media platform, Musk has brought about changes to the company that have not been liked by the consensus. However, he has repeatedly shown that he does not really care what others think.
