But Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Idris Elba returned to the bright lights of London on Saturday as they filmed a tense stand-off with their enemy.
The Rock, 46, cut a demeaning figure as he prowled the capital’s streets as Agent Hobbs and took part in an exhilarating car chase with the aid of his co-stars.

The men transformed into their super-macho characters, with Jason, 51, who plays Deckard Shaw, emerging from a flashy black McLaren, while Luther star Idris, 46, set pulses racing in leather biker gear as he stood arrived by motorbike as character Brixton.
The trio fought off danger from their rival gang, who were in a black Range Rover, with injured actress Vanessa Kirby spotted running barefoot along the street, trying to flee the gunfire.
Following the tense car chase, the trio appeared victorious after smashing their rivals’ car windows and tearing the doors from its hinges.

The Luther actor shared a selfie of himself flexing his biceps and jokingly captioned it: ‘S**t… when you make a movie with @therock … you gotta put some skin in the game…
‘Granted I have to work out a little more but…Ugggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! (That’s my game face sound).’
