Since Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted kissing earlier this year, interest in the pair’s personal lives has been at its peak. Now, it seems like fans have found an interview where Tom gets candid about marriage and kids.
Scanned pages from a print interview the star recently did with Total Film have been making the rounds on Twitter. In it, the British actor says he’s “very happy and in love” but he also emphasizes that keeping his private life away from the public eye has proven to be a hard task. The star also opens up about his future, revealing that it might not always be the film industry. “I might go and be a carpenter for two years, and take a big break, and come back. Or I might not come back. I might go away, and get married, and have kids, and just disappear for the rest of my life,” Tom said, per Distractify.
Since the rumor mill has been churning strongly for a few months, fans were quick to extrapolate Tom’s recent comments, which may very well be hypothetical, to Zendaya. After the initial pics spread, the pair has also been spotted attending a wedding together and though Tom said in the interview that he’s staying off Instagram for the most part, he seems to have time for it when it comes to Zendaya. So far, he has hyped up some of Z’s posts and shared sweet birthday tributes. Most recently he even took to the social app to congratulate Zendaya on her CFDA Fashion Icon Award. “Naaa stop it 😍. An incredible achievement for the most incredible person. Congrats @zendaya and @luxurylaw you guys deserve every bit of this,” the actor captioned his post, which was a picture of Zendaya from the event.
Seeing these, it’s only normal that fans would want to put two and two together, especially when it comes to their faves. However, and as usual, it is always best to take everything with a grain of salt — or maybe even a thousand in this case. It’s important to remember neither Zendaya nor Tom has officially confirmed their relationship, and we now also know Tom has made it clear that he appreciates the privacy.
