Emma Watson is basically who every guy wants to date and who every girl wants to be. So, obviously when she makes news about the current love interest in her life, we all sit up and listen!

For the past four months now, the brilliant Miss Watson, 25, has reportedly been dating an older (35-year-old, to be precise) American tech entrepreneur who goes by the name William ‘Mack’ Knight. In fact, the two of them just wrapped up their first low-key vacation at the VIP Post Ranch Inn, in California where they enjoyed a romantic spa break! The trip cost them a total of €9,000 a week. We’re sure it was pretty worth it all.

So, Who Is ‘Mack’?

William Knight, fondly known as Mack, is a Columbia University graduate, is supposedly a senior manager at a software company Medallia and is also a Silicon Valley computer entrepreneur, with no connections, whatsoever, with Hollywood.

According to inside sources, Emma’s current boyfriend is “a normal, down-to-earth guy who has nothing to do with Hollywood and Emma loves that.” The couple is the perfect combination of beauty with brains,  given that they’re both good-looking and so damn intelligent. Relationship goals, anyone?

Given that her current rumoured boyfriend is a techie is quite a proud moment for all the geeks, nerds and programmers out there who are probably drinking to glory and tearing their vests apart in their call for victory, yeah. This just goes to show that there is a ray of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel, a silver lining in the cloud, a glitch in the socially accepted norms. A Penny can end up with a Leonard. A gorgeous woman can end up with a geek. Maybe all you geeks will find your Miss Watson, too, if you get off your behind and actually look up from your screens, that is.

In the meantime, we’ll just sit here and wait for someone to come along, or the food to be passed around. Guess which one’s coming first?!
