Younger brother of Patrick Mahomes is someone who has always been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. From dumping water on fans to allegedly forcibly kissing a restaurant owner, Jackson Mahomes did everything to destroy his quarterback brother’s image. In fact, one time, he even tried to steal the limelight from his brother by pulling off a “lame” stunt.
The Kansas City Chiefs became the winners of the biggest contest of the year a few months ago. They won their second Super Bowl title in four years on February 12, 2023. Even though the team’s star QB was suffering from a sprained right ankle, he marshaled his team to a glorifying 38-35 win.
Mahomes‘ injury seemed to re-aggravate at the end of the game. Additionally, they were at their lowest until halftime, 24-14. However, after the halftime show, the Chiefs roared back from the deficit. I
NFL fans ridiculed Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother for his Super Bowl interview shenanigans
Needless to say, the day of Super Bowl triumph held a lot of importance for Patrick. However, his younger brother ruined one of the best moments of the day. When the 27-year-old was giving an interview, his TikTok-famous brother mistakenly appeared in the background. The mistake was enough for the fans to lampoon Jackson.
Many fans did not like that Jackson tried to “intentionally” rain on his brother’s parade.
But one fan defended the younger Mahomes.
This is going too far these comments. He is a kid.

Why do fans dislike Jackson so much?
Jackson Mahomes is disliked for various reasons. As mentioned previously, he once poured water on the Baltimore Ravens fans who were heckling him after the team’s win over the Chiefs in a 36-35 matchup. After that, the TikTok star was seen dancing over the late Sean Taylor’s memorial logo at FedEx Field in Washington (after being shot during a home invasion attempt in Florida, the former safety passed away in November 2007; he was 24). Jackson then issued an apology for his action.
I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.

Recently, it was revealed that Patrick’s brother had s*xually assaulted a restaurant owner. There are a few more things which fans dislike about him. Many believe that Jackson piggybacks on his brother’s NFL success.
What Jackson does, ultimately affects his brother’s image. According to Marcellus Wiley, “The person on the outside who doesn’t have the same level of talent, discipline, focus, determination, desire all the things that got that star to that place the person next to him.”
“Also doesn’t have the same things at stake…all of a sudden you mix that gumbo up that’s the recipe for disaster,” the former Cowboys player had once stated while talking about the impact of Jackson’s actions on his elder brother.
