Jeremy Renner started the new year in the worst possible way. The actor suffered an accident with a snowplow that almost cost him his life on January 1. The actor who plays Hawkeye in Marvel movies had to undergo surgery for a thoracic trauma and remained in the ICU for some time.
There were fears for his life, but Renner himself sent a message to all his fans four days after the dangerous accident to try to reassure his followers.
“Thank you all so much for your kind words. I’m too overwhelmed right now to write, but I send love to all of you,” Renner said then.
Jeremy Renner’s recovery
The injuries that the 52-year-old actor suffered have made his recovery very slow. In fact, as reported by US media, it could take up to two years to return to his best shape. Jeremy Renner himself has informed his followers about the state of his rehabilitation by uploading content to his social networks.
Last week he posted a photo of himself in a bed, doing rehab, accompanied by the caption: “Morning workouts…. Everything changed this new year. These 30+ broken bones will be repaired, strengthened, as love and bonding with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to all,” Renner assured.
