New mother Scarlett Johansson is relishing her first-time experience of breastfeeding.
The actress chatted with Barbara Walters about the benefits of raising her baby daughter Rose during an interview for the upcoming The 10 Most Fascinating People Of 2014 telecast.
And the 30-year-old is not only bonding with her little girl by nursing, but the also shedding the post-baby weight in the process, telling Barbara: ‘It’s the best way to get back in shape.’

Scarlett, who confirmed on September 4 that she had given birth to Rose, said she is enjoying the responsibilities that come with parenting.
‘[I do] the whole bit,’ she told the 85-year-old host. ‘I’m nursing and I love it. It’s the best way to get back in shape.’
She added of motherhood: ‘It’s wonderful. It’s very, very magical – and exhausting. The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming.’

The couple started dating in November 2012 and got engaged almost a year later in September 2013. A year after their announcement, they happily welcomed baby Rose on September 4.
‘She smells sweet, totally,’ she told Germany’s Gala magazine last week, speaking for the first time about life as a new mom. ‘I can’t quite describe it, but it really makes you euphoric.’
Scarlett added: ‘It’s exhausting in the most wonderful way. I never thought how much sleeping through the night would mean to me. I still lack experience. Right now I’m just trying to manage. You have to first learn the ropes.’
