Dylan Farrow had some choice words for Scarlett Johansson after the Avengers star publicly defended Woody Allen against his adopted daughter’s allegations of sexual abuse.
Farrow, 34, had been absent from Twitter for a year, but on Wednesday she broke her silence to address Johansson’s explosive new interview in which she expressed her undying love and support for Allen.
‘Because if we’ve learned anything from the past two years it’s that you definitely should believe male predators who “maintain their innocence” without question,’ Farrow noted sarcastically, referring to her Oscar-winning father. ‘Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion.’

Not mincing words: Dylan Farrow lashed out at Scarlett Johansson on Twitter Wednesday for defending her adoptive father, Woody Allen, against her molestation claims
Clap back: Farrow questioned Johansson’s role in the #MeToo movement in light of her support of Woody Allen
Farrow’s barbed tweet came just hours after The Hollywood Reporter published Johansson’s comments, saying she believed Allen was innocent and that she would ‘work with him anytime.’
For more than 25 years, Farrow has maintained that when she was seven years old in 1992, Allen molested her at the Connecticut home she shared with her mother, the filmmaker’s partner Mia Farrow.
Much of Hollywood has distanced itself from Allen since the #MeToo movement gave renewed impetus to Farrow’s accusations.
Allen was cleared of the charges after two separate months-long investigations. But Dylan continues to maintain she was abused.
After lashing out at Johansson on Twitter Wednesday, Farrow returned to the social media platform earlier today to slam The View co-host Joy Behar for giving credence to Allen’s protestations of innocence.

The View co-host Joy Behar defended Allen on Thursday’s episode of the talk show
Her co-host Sunny Hostin, a former sex crimes prosecutor, called into question some of the evidence characterized by Behar as exonerating
‘@TheView surprising that in discussing my case this morning no one mentioned that the prosecutor in my case, after evaluating ALL the evidence, found probable cause to press criminal charges against Woody. He chose not to only in order to spare me further trauma,’ Farrow wrote.
She added: ‘@JoyBehar saying that the experts have exonerated Woody Allen is utterly false and a truly abhorrent mischaracterization. Thank you to @sunny for pushing back on the false narrative Woody Allen has tried so hard to perpetuate.’
During Thursday’s taping of The View, Behar went through some of the evidence that Allen has said exonerated him.
‘The Connecticut State Police brought in an investigative team from the Yale New Haven hospital, all right?’ she said. ‘Their six-month long inquiry, which included medical examinations, concluded that Dylan had not been molested.’
After bringing up the fact that Farrow’s brother Moses has denied that Allen molested her, Behar said: ‘so based on that, there has to be a point where you say, what am I going to believe? The authorities who investigated this, or people who are making accusations?’
Farrow returned to Twitter on Thursday to weigh in on The View’s discussion of her case
Farrow, 34, attacked Behar on Twitter for her stance, accusing her of ‘abhorrent mischaracterization’ of facts
Behar’s co-host and former sex crimes prosecutor Sunny Hostin came to Farrow’s defense, noting that her story has been consistent throughout the years, and that her Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist brother Ronan Farrow has corraborated some of her allegations.
Hostin also added that in 1993, a judge ruled that Farrow had to be protected from Allen’s ‘grossly inappropriate’ behavior towards her.
‘I will tell you in my experience, because I spent the majority of my career prosecuting child sexual predators, so I consider myself somewhat of an expert in this area, abusers groom their character witnesses just as thoroughly as they groom their victims,’ Hostin said.
Amazon shelved Allen’s latest film, A Rainy Day in New York, in the US over the sex abuse allegations
Allen, who had gone on to marry his other adopted daughter 35 years his junior, Soon-Yi Previn, has vehemently denied sexually abusing Farrow, but a number of stars, including Colin Firth, Greta Gerwig and Mira Sorvino, have said they would not work with him again.
Johansson, who appeared in Allen’s movies Match Point, Scoop and Vicky Christina Barcelona, outted herself during her sit-down with The Hollywood Reporter as a staunch supporter of the director.
‘I love Woody,’ Johansson declared. ‘I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.’
The twice-divorced actress, who is currently engaged to Saturday Night Live co-head writer Colin Jost, said she has had many candid conversations with Allen about Farrow’s allegations.
‘I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him,’ she added.
Amazon shelved Allen’s latest film, A Rainy Day in New York, in the US over the sex abuse allegations, but another distributor will release the film in Europe later this year after it opened in Poland in July.
In February, the director of Manhattan and Annie Hall filed a $68million suit against Amazon for breach of contract, accusing the streaming giant of canceling the film because of a ‘baseless’ accusation that he sexually abused his adopted daughter.
