Jackson Mahomes can never stay away from social media. Despite getting heavy backlash online, the 22-year-old continues to remain active on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. However, this time he refused to seek suggestions from the common folks and simply turned off the comments on his recent post.
Patrick Mahomes’ brother rose to prominence under the quarterback’s fame and success. Being one of the top signal-callers in the league, the Super Bowl champion draws immense attention, and his family remains in the spotlight.
Jackson Mahomes turns off the comment section on his comeback post
Ever since the TikTok star was accused of s*xual misconduct, he has maintained some distance from social media. Although he remained active and shared stories on his Insta account, Jackson refrained from making controversial statements and didn’t roll out any new posts. That streak is now broken as Jr. Mahomes recently shared a picture on Instagram wearing a casual outfit.
However, the only thing fans noticed was him disabling the comment section. Not to mention, he was constantly roasted by netizens and its intensity was increased after a 40-year-old restaurant owner in Kansas City accused him of forcibly kissing her.
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. And I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘What are you doing?’ Then he proceeded to do it two more times, where the last time I was pushing him off,” the owner had alleged.
It took no time for this news to spread like wildfire across the internet. Fans and celebrities across the country reacted to this incident; however, Patrick Mahomes kept his mum throughout this time. But Brittany found all these criticisms unnecessary and called out Jackson’s haters.
“They are ignorant. He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s**t about him. So it’s best to just shut up,” Brittany wrote in an online Q&A session.
Jackson found himself in a similar situation a couple of months ago
The Missouri-Kansas product often made headlines for his social media antics, and people never fazed from missing out on a chance to roast him. Previously, he was caught in a similar incident where he tried to defame a bar business, alleging bad service. Jackson, along with a couple of friends, visited a restaurant to party. They had limited space for seating and couldn’t accommodate all of them.
He dragged the entire issue online and deliberately gave poor reviews. It ultimately affected their entire business, resulting in the management coming forward to address the issue.
They called him an egomaniac and bashed him for misusing the platforms. Jackson doesn’t seem to be hitting the brakes anytime soon. It will be interesting to see how Patrick Mahomes handles the repercussions of his brother’s actions in the future.
