She has certainly had a busy time of late hanging out with her ex-husband, making an appearance at Milan Fashion Week and speaking out about those nude photos.
But last night Scarlett Johannson put her hectic schedule to one side, and the naked photos drama behind her, to support Mayoral candidate Scott Stringer last night.
Scarlett, 38, looked suitably sophisticated for the evening in her monochrome ensemble which boasted a high-waisted skirt, a silk blouse and black piping.

The actress was hosting a $2,500 a head cocktail party at The Plaza Hotel to support Stringer at the campaign fundraiser.
And Scarlett was by no means simply there to look pretty but also delivered a speech to guests at the event.
It was a busy night for the Avengers star who moved onto a second event held at The Jane Hotel to raise as much money for Stringer, who is currently the Mahattan Borough President.

Scarlet’s twin brother Hunter Johansson, who worked in Stringer’s office.Johannson first dipped her toe in politics during the 2008 presidential campaign declaring, ‘I am engaged to Barack Obama’. She later joked to reporters: ‘My heart belongs to Barack.’
Speaking about Stringer Scarlett said: ‘Scott’s passion for New York is contagious.’

The actress, who grew up in New York’s Greenwich Village, says her grandmother worked with Stringer in the 1980s.

Stringer said: ‘I am extremely grateful for Ms Johansson’s support. She has a proven ability to energise young voters, and her participation in our campaign will go a long way towards engaging the multi-generational coalition needed to unify our city. Last week Scarlett was reunited with her ex-husband Ryan Reynolds at a Radiohead concert at the Roseland Ballroom in New York.
The former couple, whose divorce was finalised this summer were said to be on good terms as they enjoyed the concert together.

The day before the concert Scarlett had appeared on CNN to talk about nude photos of herself appearing on the internet.
She said: ‘Just because you’re an actor or make films or whatever doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy,’ she said. ‘If that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong.’
Since the scandal first emerged, Johansson admitted that she took the naked photographs of herself, which were leaked online after someone hacked into her phone.
The FBI are currently investigating the case.
