He’s previously been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive, and now fans can see exactly where Chris Hemsworth got his good looks from.

The Aussie actor surprised his followers online on Sunday by posting a photo of his very youthful-looking dad to celebrate Father’s Day.

As well as a current-day snap of himself with 66-year-old Craig, Chris shared a throwback photo of his family on a camping trip when they were young.

“Happy Father’s Day you big bloody champion! Thanks for always being there. Love ya dad,” he captioned the post.

Followers were quick to compliment the similar-looking duo, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

“Wow that apple did not fall far from that tree. Happy Father’s Day to both you studs,” he wrote.

“You literally are a clone of your father!” one user shared.

“Why does dad look like the older version of you,” another remarked.

Chris’ brothers Liam and Luke also took to Instagram to share posts celebrating their father.

“Happy Father’s day Craigas!” Liam wrote alongside a gallery of his dad at the beach.

“You’ll always be my favourite superhero. Happy Father’s Day Craigo!” Luke captioned his tribute.

The Hemsworth brothers have seemingly always shared a strong bond with their dad, who previously worked as a counsellor in child protection services.

In a 2015 interview with Independent, Liam reportedly teared up when recounting the heartfelt moment Chris called Craig and told him to check his bank account.

“He [his father] called my brother Chris back and said: ‘I don’t know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared’,” he said.

“They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us, I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that.”
