All eyes were on Scarlett Johansson on Tuesday night when she stunned in a low cut, off the shoulder, black dress at the 70th Annual Venice International Film Festival.
However, the star was a far cry from her glamorous red carpet persona as she left Venice on Wednesday, sporting a navy blue double breasted jacket and peg leg trousers.
The 38-year-old actress wore leopard-trimmed sunglasses and dark brown patent heels to add some much needed fashion fun to her outfit as she made her casual, but ever-stylish, exit.
Ready for bed? Scarlett’s outfit had something of a pyjama feel about it, and she hid her eyes behind sunglasses
Mind the step: Scarlett negotiated the staircase in her clunky heels
Scarlett wore her hair scraped back off her face and still managed to look fresh-faced – despite minimal make-up.
Making her way back to the airport, the actress was helped off a water taxi and onto dry land by the vessel’s staff and members of her entourage.
While Scarlett had been accompanied by her French boyfriend Romain Dauriac to the 10-day film event, there was no sign of him as the actress headed home.

Scarlett was at the festival in order to promote her new film Under the Skin by British director Jonathan Gleazer, whose films include Birth and Sexy Beast.
Whilst the premiere of the new film took place on Tuesday night, critics have wasted no time in giving brutally honest and mixed reviews of the new cinematic release.
The Independent gave the new film one star and said that not even the experienced actress could turn this alien flick into a hit, writing: ‘Even Scarlett Johansson can’t save Jonathan Glazer’s laughably bad alien hitchhiker movie.’
Beautiful: On Tuesday night, Scarlett wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder black gown to the film festival premiere of Under The Skin
Understated: The actress kept her hairdo simple to let her floor-length gown do all the fashionable work
Vintage style: Scarlett showed off her hourglass curves in the old school number on Tuesday night
However, the Guardian hailed the film as an ‘extraordinary piece of outsider art.’
The movie was due to be released in 2012, yet was delayed with reports swirling that director Gleazer was still editing.
Despite mixed reviews of the film, one thing everyone could surely agree on was that Scarlett looked breathtaking as she attended the red carpet premiere of the movie on Tuesday in a curve-enhancing off-the-shoulder black gown.
Flawless: The actress wore her hair up in a messy up-do with muted make-up and a coloured diamond necklace
Towering: Scarlett wore ivory peep-toe heels with the black gown and diamond necklace
Wearing muted make-up, Scarlett looked refreshed and not overly done up for the special occasion, although she did draw attention to her decolletage, thanks to a coloured diamond necklace that brought out the green of her eyes.
And despite the revealing nature of her dress, the actress couldn’t hide the giant diamond ring sitting on her engagement finger.
The superstar has continually denied any reports that she is engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac, and in July her publicist told People magazine that the star ‘is not engaged nor close to being engaged’ after she was spotted wearing the ring while out and about.

Crowds went wild: Fans held up signs for the actress as they waited patiently to see the film star walk by
