As most new parents will know, welcoming a child into the world is one of the most rewarding, but draining, experiences that you can go through.
So Chris Hemsworth deserves credit for managing to return to work promoting his new movie Snow White And The Huntsman just days after the birth of his first child with wife Elsa Pataky.
But the Australian actor kept his sunglasses firmly on as he arrived at London’s Battersea Heliport this afternoon after jetting in from Sussex, where a press conference for the film had taken place earlier in the day.
No wonder he’s got sunglasses on! Chris Hemsworth, who welcomed a daughter into the world on Friday, was back to work promoting his new movie Snow White And The Huntsman today
Jetsetting lifestyle: Chris flew into Battersea Heliport after attending a press conference in Sussex
Hemsworth clutched several bags as he climbed out of the helicopter, looking in good spirits, if a little tired as he lifted up his glasses, as he headed inside the heliport.
The 28-year-old actor and wife Elsa welcomed daughter India into the world on Friday in London.
Talking about their choice of name for the little girl, Hemsworth told E! News: ‘It was just a name we liked, I always kind of liked Indie or Indiana for a boy and she liked India.
Multitasking: Chris clutched several bags as he made his way out of the aircraft and into the Heliport
Feeling the strain: As the 28-year-old actor lifted up his sunglasses, the bags under his eyes could be seen
‘We sort of went, “Oh well, whether it’s a boy or girl, that will decide.” It just seemed to fit.’
He added: ‘I’ve wanted to have kids for a long time, and here it is, and I couldn’t be happier.’
And while the actor’s personal life is going from strength to strength, the same can be said for his career.
New addition: Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to daughter India in London on Friday
As well as appearing alongside Kristen Stewart in Snow White And The Huntsman, Hemsworth can also currently be seen reprising his role as Greek God Thor in Marvel’s Avengers Assemble.
The movie, which boasts an all-star cast including Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo and Samuel L. Jackson, has made box office history by taking $1billion worldwide after a record second weekend.
And in the UK, the film has taken over £40million to date.
