Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi among nominees for Ligue 1 player of the year

PSG’s Kylian Mbappé (24) is in contention to win his fourth consecutive accolade as Ligue 1 player of the year. The France skipper, currently top of the league goalscoring leaderboard with 26 strikes, is part of the 5-man shortlist to be crowned the league’s best player this season. Mbappé will face stiff competition from PSG teammate Lionel Messi (35).
