Real Madrid continues to decline after becoming the former Champions League champion

After being eliminated by Man City in the Champions League semi-finals, Real Madrid continued to lose 0-1 to Valencia and lost second place in La Liga to Atletico.

In the middle of the week, Real Madrid lost 0-4 to Man City in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final and became the former champion of this tournament. The “white vulture” also watched with pity when Barcelona won La Liga last weekend and Real Madrid closed the season with the King’s Cup.

Out of motivation to play, coach Carlo Ancelotti has put a lot of new pillars in the middle of the week in the trip to Valencia’s Mestalla stadium in round 35 of La Liga. Los Che is on the way to revival to escape the relegation group.

The squad was so chaotic that Los Blancos could not create a game to overwhelm the home team and even at times was pressed by Valencia. Valencia’s determination was higher and they concretized by opening the scoring in the 33rd minute with a goal from young striker Diego Lopez Noguerol.

The 21-year-old Spaniard made his second start in La Liga and scored his first career goal. The absence of many pillars, especially in the midfield like Kroos, Modric made the two spearheads Benzema and Vinicius in the attack lack the ball supply.

Meanwhile, the laxity of the defense many times made goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wobble. Fortunately, Valencia’s strikers could not take advantage of it.

Real Madrid’s poor performance day ended with the red card of young striker Vinicius in the 7th minute of stoppage time. The Brazilian player was inhibited throughout the match and he had a situation of swinging his arm and hitting his face. Hugo Duro.

With this defeat, Real Madrid has now dropped to 3rd in the rankings, when in an earlier match Atletico Madrid beat Osasuna 3-0 to rise to 2nd with 72 points, one point more than the neighboring team
