Jennifer Lawrence showed off her chic style as she stepped out in New York with a pal on Tuesday.

The actress, 32, looked stylish in an oversized pinstripe blue shirt with a white collar. She paired the outfit with black Bermuda shorts.

The Red Sparrow star — who recently stunned at Cannes film festival — opted for comfortable black flats and shielded her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.

She wore her long blonde tresses parted in the middle and cascading down in light curls.

The beauty accessorized her outfit with a crossbody black purse.

Out and about: Jennifer Lawrence showed off her chic style as she stepped out in New York with a pal on Tuesday

The outing came after her stylish appearance at the Cannes film festival over the weekend.

She attended the photocall for her new documentary Bread and Roses on Sunday.

Jennifer has produced the film, which explores the lives of three Afghan woman following the Taliban’s takeover in Kabul.

She put on an elegant display as she joined her co-producer Justine Ciarrocchi at the 76th annual Film Festival ahead of the documentary premiere.

The Joy star wore a chic knit dress, which was backless and featured strappy detailing, teamed with a pair of heeled sandals and some diamond earrings from Alison Lou – the same jewelry designer behind her engagement ring.

Jennifer wore her dark blonde hair in a low chignon and opted for a natural pallet of make-up, accentuating her pretty features.

Bread and Roses is directed by Afghan Sahra Mani and captures the experiences of her country women living under the Taliban since they took control of Kabul.

The film will later premiere as a Special Screening in the festival.

The arrival of the militant political movement in Kabul in 2021 had a disastrous effect on women’s rights in the country.

They were immediately stripped of any right to an education as well as limits on employment and their access to public spaces.

The tale of resilience is described as a ‘a raw, un-sanitized depiction of the female plight in Afghanistan.’

It particularly focuses on three women, who endeavour to recover their identity and autonomy as viewers see the experience through their eyes.

Director Mani fled Afghanistan when the Taliban took power in the summer of 2021 and is living now in Europe.

Jennifer also whisked herself away to Las Vegas last month in April for CinemaCon to take part in the Sony Pictures Entertainment Presentation and to discuss her upcoming film, No Hard Feelings, which is being distributed by the company.

The comedy is slated to release in theaters next month on June 23, and is a genre that the star rarely tackles.

But upon the release of the trailer in March, fans expressed their excitement to see Jennifer taking on a less dramatic role.

The movie not only stars Lawrence, but also Natalie Morales, Matthew Broderick, Andrew Barth Feldman and Laura Benanti.

According to an IMDB synopsis, the premise follows Jennifer’s character, Maddie, who is on the ‘brink of losing her home’ and finds an ad from ‘parents looking for someone to bring their introverted 19-year-old son out of his shell before college. She has one summer to make him a man or die trying.’

While talking to Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, Jennifer, and director Gene Stupnitsky, revealed that the film is based on a real-life job posting.

‘Gene read the Craigslist ad to me, and I died laughing,’ the actress recalled. ‘I thought it was hilarious, but there wasn’t a script or anything. I just thought he had a funny idea. And then a couple years later, he handed me the funniest script I’ve ever read in my life.’
