Mum of two Joanne Baxter, 52, has taken to her social media to share her best trick to looking fresh and it’s not as difficult as you think.
It works so well that people often mistake her for a 25-year-old.
Joanne, who is a makeup fanatic, has revealed to her 20.6k TikTok followers her artistic hack which she weaves into her facial routine to keep a nice glow to her face.
She says it is all down to the pink under-eye trend – where makeup fans use a pink powder underneath the eye to help lift the face.
Joanne says: “I’m 52, am I too old for the pink under eye trend? No way am I too old.
“So many videos, swipe, swipe, swipe, they are all young, they are all beautiful, they have not got a line in sight, no wrinkles, no dark circles, but I get them.”
Holding up the Vitamin Babe Pink Powder, which costs £10, to the camera, Joanne credits this product as her secret weapon.
She says: “There are many shades of this powder, I have the light one as well and I absolutely love it.
“It’s 100 per cent great quality and great value for money.
“So let me show you what I want to do to enhance my under eye look.
“This is such an easy way of literally brightening the under eye area. It’s not cakey, it’s not creasy.
“You just dab it on, and lift it up to the temple and off you go.
“Just grab a bit on your little powder puff, these are easily available on Amazon and just bake.
“Put quite a lot on, be liberal with the powder and just gently press it into the skin and under the eye, and you can actually use it to contour your cheek bone as well.”
After completing one side of her face, Joanne compares it to the other side of her face which she hasn’t yet touched and already had makeup on.
Pointing at the untouched side, she says: “This is 12 hour old makeup, and I am just refreshing it because I need to go out but look, what a difference pink powder makes.
“This is, as I say, on my face all day, just a little bit of pink powder just lifts the face and makes it all beautifully bright and non creasy, non cakey, I absolutely love this.”
She continues: “Invest and you won’t be disappointed.”
And over 1,000 people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts with some assuming she has had “botox.”
One wrote: “That would sit in my wrinkles. I obvs (SIC) don’t have enough Botox lol.”
Another added: “52, you don’t look a day over 28.”
A third said: “You’re not 52, you’re 25.”
A fourth wrote: “I thought you said 32 and I was about to say you look 20 but I looked in the comments and seen you were 52, omg you look amazing.”
