Chelsea have wrapped up their third signing in two days after completing a transfer for Andrey Santos.
The move comes after deals for Benoit Badiashile and David Datro Fofana from Monaco and Molde respectively.
The youngster has completed a move from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama where he progressed through the youth set-up.
Santos, 18, helped Vasco da Gama gain promotion from Serie B after scoring eight goals in 33 appearances.
A box-to-box midfielder, Santos has represented Brazil up to Under-20 level and says that a move to Stamford Bridge is ‘a big opportunity’ for him.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, Santos said: “It’s a very big opportunity for me.
“This is a big club playing in big competitions like the Premier League so I am very excited.
“The players here are so good and I am very happy to be here.”
While Chelsea have been busy, they’re certainly not done yet.
The Blues continue to be linked with Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez and Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Graham Potter’s side have opened talks with Marcus Thuram.
The France international is out of contract over the summer with the Borussia Monchengladbach star now able to discuss terms with clubs outside of Germany regarding a pre-contract agreement.
However it’s reported that Chelsea are weighing up a move that would see him join this month as Potter looks to bolster his offensive options.
Chelsea are in need of new forwards with Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic going off injured in the recent defeat to Manchester City.
Striker Armando Broka has also been ruled out for the season with a knee injury, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored just one league goal since joining from Barcelona.
