In 1967, the Lunar Orbiter satellite took a lot of pictures of the Moon, in preparation for the Apollo mission of 1968. However, in it appeared an amazing image depicting the object that looked like the spacecraft of the Moon. aliens and the long distance to nearly 100 km.

The photo depicts a very strange object about 16km long located inside the Manlius crater. The object is clearly seen by the illumination of the Sun, confusing observers as it appears to be a man-made object.This has led some theorists to think that the object could be an alien spacecraft. They even suggested that this would be the real object of research for the Apollo moon mission, and the project was expanded by NASA after many years.
Some who disagree with this theory suggest that the image may simply be an optical illusion caused by the reduced pressure in the Manlius crater area.
However, this hypothesis has been heavily disproved, as the contours below the object are shadows cast by the object along the direction of the Sun’s illumination next to the crater’s edge.

This has suggested that this is indeed a solid object and not an illusion. What’s even stranger is that the unusually smooth land lying nearby stretched out like a road.
From the front view of the photo, this stretch is probably close to 100 km long, although in reality it could be even longer. Critics have struggled to interpret this path.
While natural erosion still often occurs on the surface of the Moon, it is not enough to create a large and even smooth track like what is seen in the image.
