Ever since Vince McMahon has come back to the WWE, the speculation for the potential WWE sale has significantly grown in numbers. But one thing that they all must know is that Vince McMahon loves this company. Separating from it would be unimaginable. But for all the buyers, Dwayne Johnson has some quality words.
Having worked alongside Vince McMahon, there is no one better to know his head than his favorite wrestler. The two worked closely all throughout the Attitude Era, both on and off the screen.
Dwayne Johnson has some choice words for potential WWE buyers
When asked about the buyers and acquisition, Johnson said, “I think the world of professional wrestling and the world of WWE, it’s so unique. The fanbase is huge and passionate, and there’s nothing like the WWE. So, I think with the new owners, if there are new owners and acquirers, who are going to come in, they have to share the same passion that Vince has for the company and the world of pro wrestling, which isn’t always easy to do.”
“As you guys know, when a company like this, it’s been so incredibly successful over the years, the sale and acquisition could be very complicated. But there is that unique added anchor to this, I believe, that Vince feels. You gotta find the right buyer who still has that passion and love for this very unique world.”
If Johnson is mentioning Vince’s passion for the sport, then it must be true. If you didn’t know, The Rock bought one of the companies that McMahon had started, the XFL. So, if anyone knows about Vince’s business side as well as his wrestling side that it is Johnson himself.
Some of the rumored potential buyers of WWE
In just over a few days, there have been many buyers in the news. Though, none of them have mentioned it in the public. Some of the wilder ones have been Disney or WB. While others have been more logical, like Fox or Saudi Arabia, due to their prior business collaborations. But the wildest one that caught Twitter off guard was when Tony Khan, the owner of AEW’s name, was put in the bucket.
Let us know what you think about Dwayne Johnson’s words in the comments below. Also, tell us if you agree with what he said or will Vince disregard it and just look for the best profit.
