The long-awaited Netflix live-action adaptation of the paragon series of adventures of the crews from One Piece has its first poster, getting ready to sail and soar high in 2023.
The live-action One Piece series was first announced on July 21, 2017, by Weekly Shonen Jump editor-in-chief Hiroyuki Nakano to celebrate the beloved manga series 20th anniversary. After years in the making, fans have been fed bits of new information at times only. Produced by Tomorrow Studios for Netflix, with the creator of the iconic manga Eiichiro Oda as executive producer alongside Tomorrow Studios’ CEI Marty Adelstein and President Becky Clements, counting on Steven Maeda as the showrunner and, along with Matt Owens, an executive producer, and writer, the debut was confirmed for 2023, with no specific date yet. The One Piece series logo had been revealed before, and a sneak peek was released.
Below is the One Piece teaser poster that was recently revealed. The series is a highly promising take on the tales and adventures of Luffy and his friends in the epic search for the fabled One Piece. The glimpses in the poster show Luffy clad in his iconic straw hat and red vest, with his fist clenched high against a bright sunset view of the ocean. It further depicts a tiny seagull with a hat, a News Coo (ニュース・クー, Nyūsu Kū), soaring in the sky. The ships will soon be sailing in the high waters of Netflix streaming sometime in summer 2023. Finally, the One Piece live-action journey is set to sail.
