Better known by his ring name, The Rock, Dwayne Johnson is one of the most recognized wrestlers of all time. Having already achieved massive success in wrestling, The Rock has also created a big name for himself in Hollywood. In addition to all this, he is also known for imparting his wisdom on various topics. He got a chance to do something similar when, in Atlanta, he was stuck in traffic.
Beside his car was a bus full of the Lovett School baseball team. They were going to a baseball game against Cedar Grove. But little did they know that one of the usual days of being stuck in traffic would become noteworthy. Needless to say, after realizing who was in the car beside them, the kids went ballistic. But even this wasn’t the highlight of that moment. The highlight came when the pro-wrestler-turned-actor decided to give the kids a pep talk.
What did Dwayne Johnson say to the baseball team?
The Great One asked the baseball team where they were going. And after learning that all of them were at the moment going to a baseball game, he gave them a small pep talk and probably made their day.
While risking his safety, the Rock asked them, “you going to kick a*s?” At the top of their lungs, the boys shouted, “YES!!” A few hours after the moment passed, the actor posted a video that he shot of giving the pep talk while writing, “These boys won 23-1. I’d say the kept their word to me.”
And then, the moment diminished, but not without the former wrestler warning his driver to keep his eyes on the road. Meeting the Rock might have been a shock to those kids, but it certainly made their day and got them a truckload of luck from the Great One himself.
The small moment warmed the Rock’s heart!
While calling his heart a cold and black one, the eight times WWE champ said for the most part of his life, he is relentless and busy. But when he comes across a moment that he did in the spring of 2019, it always fills his heart with warmth.
A few days after the moment, the iconic wrestler posted a video shot by one of the players on the bus. With it, he once again said that he’s proud of them and wants them to be “focused on your goals and keep being the hardest workers in the room. It’ll always pay off for the rest of your lives.”
Additionally, he also thanked the kids for making his day.
