Suffering from cerebral palsy since childhood, only 1m48 tall and 37kg in weight, but Nguyen Mai Anh (born in 2001, Phu Tho) strongly faced her illness, overcoming all difficulties to become a university student law School.

Mai Anh said that she was born and raised in a family where both parents are teachers and has a twin sister named Nguyen Truc Anh, who is studying at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. “My little sister is completely healthy and normal. During my junior high school years, I began to feel pity and suspicion in everyone’s eyes when they saw me. Everyone told me I was lame…” – Mai Anh recalled emotionally.
Talking about her daughter’s illness, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hao choked and said, “When Mai Anh was born, she was like any other normal child, even plumper than Truc Anh. At 13 months, Mai Anh still could not walk, the doctor diagnosed her with spastic cerebral palsy. I want to prove to everyone that all those words and thoughts are completely wrong, and I don’t want to submit to fate.”
