Dwayne Johnson’s mom is doing “OK” after being involved in a car crash.
The actor posted an Instagram photo of the extensive damage to the passenger side of Ata Johnson’s vehicle, writing that she will “survive and continue to get evaluated.”
The former professional wrestler, 50, added, “This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide.
“She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real,” he continued.
After thanking the “caring and focused” Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department, Dwayne advised his followers to hug their parents “hard.”

“Dad, I wish I had one more shot to tell you, I love you, before you crossed over to the other side. But you were ripped away from me so fast without warning,” he wrote via Instagram. “Gone in an instant and no coming back.”
Dwayne explained at the time that while he was “in pain,” he was focused on having a “family to feed and work to accomplish.”
The actor has gifted Ata cars and homes in the past.
Since Rocky’s passing, Dwayne has publicly treated his mom to a Cadillac and a new house.
“When I was a little boy, I hated when my mom would cry ~ these days, I’ll happily take her tears of joy,” the “Ballers” alum told his Instagram followers after presenting the 74-year-old with an Encino, Calif., home last year.
Dwayne is a father of three.
“I always say, if you got a good mom then you got a shot at becoming a good, caring human being,” he continued in June 2022. “Let’s all give our mamas a big grateful squeeze.”
The “Tooth Fairy” star is a parent himself, sharing 21-year-old daughter Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia, as well as daughters Jasmine, 7, and Tiana, 4, with his wife, Lauren Hashian.
