At a sanctuary in northern Tʜᴀɪʟᴀɴᴅ, a newborn elephant can be heard making lovely noises as he snoozes. The video shows elephant Khun-Seuk plainly taking pleasure in his sleep while snoring and making amusing noises with his trunk.
Halfway through the video, the elephant, who resides in a sanctuary in Chiang Mai, wakes up but doesn’t appear to be in a hurry to get up. He silently turns his trunk into his mouth while calmly gazing directly into the camera.
Khun-Seuk then shifts his leg position and flicks his ear before becoming motionless once more. The elephant ᴄʟᴏsᴇs his eyes again and drifts off for another nap once he is at ease. The small elephant begins to make noises again almost immediately, but this time they are quieter as he falls asleep again.
He loves to sleep, much like a person, according to his mahout. He, however, produces the most bizarre noises he has ever heard. People can be seen roaming around the sanctuary in the background of the video, but no other animals can be seen there. Adorable Khun-Seuk is not bothered by this, though.
