LeBron James is one of the best players in NBA history because he has taken the best care of himself throughout his 20-year career.
The King has done so much on and off the court that many fans consider him the greatest to ever do it, even above other legends like Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Kobe Bryant.
The King has played with excellence during his career and now is about to break one of the most impressive records in every major sports competition: the all-time NBA scoring record. This record belongs to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar right now, but the King could break it soon, even tonight, as he goes against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As he comes close to this record, many people are calling LeBron the undisputed GOAT, including Chandler Parsons. James always tries to stay humble, but it seems like he’s tired of that, and just like he said in 2020, is looking for his damn respect.
LeBron James Is Convinced He’s The Greatest Basketball Player Of All Time
Talking with the Orange County Register, the King revealed his true feelings on this record and what it means to him. The 4x NBA champion is ready to make history once again, which would place him above Michael Jordan, according to many fans and players around the league.
“I’m gonna let everybody else decide where (the scoring record) puts me,” he told Southern California News Group in an exclusive interview. “It’s not for me to say now, ‘OK I’m this or that.’”
LeBron still claims that he feels he’s the best to ever do it considering his talents, but saying that this new record will do so much more for him.
“What I bring to the table as a basketball player … I feel like I’m the best basketball player that ever played the game,” he said. “That’s just my confidence, that’s just what I bring to the table, what I possess. But as far as if the scoring record gets me to another level, I don’t know.”
The King will try to make history this season, but he’s made it clear that the record won’t be that important if the Lakers end up losing the game. He’s ready to make a statement now and prove that besides his talents and everything he can do on the court, the number of points he’s scored during his career also confirms that he’s the greatest of all time.
