Over the course of his career, LeBron James has created a lot of moves. LeBron is an example of a player who has displayed more facets than we can keep track of. One does not become the NBA’s all-time top scorer with a one-dimensional offense.
Over the course of his career, LeBron James has done a lot of damage through his dunks and rim finishes. However, later in his career, James developed a deeper offensive bag that saw him consistently hit mid-range shots and 3-pointers.

The mid-range fadeaway is iconic for Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, but tonight, it became iconic for LeBron James.

James set the all-time scoring record by hitting the shot at the end of the third quarter in the Lakers’ loss to the Thunder. The picture that fans took of the moment is bound to go down in history.
20 years ago, this picture would have been covered with camera flash from fans trying to record the moment in the crowd. Even though new-age technology has taken away the flash that made these moments look incredible, the entire crowd pulling their phones out and trying to record history on their device is as iconic a picture as we’ve seen in the modern era.

LeBron James Making His Mark As The Greatest Scorer In NBA History
Statistically, there’s no more doubting LeBron’s claim to be the greatest scorer in league history. No player has scored at the rate and efficiency with which he has over the course of a grueling 20-year career that also includes 10 trips to the NBA Finals. He leads the league in all-time scoring, regular-season scoring, and playoff scoring.
While people don’t look at James as a scorer, there’s no denying his ability on that front anymore. He is the definition of a scorer. Only 5 players can claim a better per-game scoring average than him, with none of those players coming close to the longevity with which James has dominated the NBA.
Fans are free to pick the player that they think fits the mold most. However, the numbers are only going to grow for LeBron until his statistics will make it virtually undisputable for the future generation.
