“I knew Mikel [Arteta] since [Manchester] City and I always knew that he is an amazing manager,” explained Oleksandr Zinchenko on VBET news.
“There is a lot of similarities between Arteta and [Pep] Guardiola but obviously everyone is a bit different and still there is some difference between them as well.
“But the similarity is that both of them want to win every single game and that’s the most important thing.”
Arteta was Guardiola’s apprentice for many years at City before taking up the managerial job at Arsenal. And, of course, during that time he crossed paths with Zinchenko as well.
