Without a doubt, LeBron James is one of the greatest athletes of all time, and his longevity and availability are out of this world.
Throughout his career, the star has rarely missed games, but in recent years we’ve seen LeBron James deal with some nagging injuries that have kept him out of the Los Angeles Lakers lineup.
NBA insider Chris Haynes has recently revealed that LeBron James is currently dealing with a foot injury. He noted that the injury gets “unbearable” at times, and added that it might be something “that lingers all season long”.
“I was told the record breaking game, LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has. It is something that has been nagging him for a few weeks already. It gets to points where it just gets unbearable and he plays through it… The way it’s explained to me is that might be something that lingers all season long, but it reached the dire point.”
Hopefully, we see the injury go away sooner rather than later for LeBron James. There’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers are a poor team when he misses time, and hopefully, they can withstand a short absence for the superstar. James is listed as out for the upcoming Lakers-Warriors game, but there’s a chance he could come back for their next contest.
LeBron James Had A Say In The Lakers’ Moves Ahead Of The Trade Deadline
Even though LeBron James might be dealing with an injury right now, the moves that the Los Angeles Lakers made could potentially help the superstar exert himself less during the regular season. The team was clearly a winner at the trade deadline. D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley are both capable players that can help the team offensively if LeBron James has to miss some games.

It seems as though LeBron James may have had a hand in bringing those players over to the Los Angeles Lakers. A recent report revealed that Rob Pelinka checked in with LeBron James and co-star Anthony Davis about the team’s trades ahead of the deadline.
Pelinka said he checked in with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis on all of the moves ahead of the deadline.
Hopefully, the moves made end up working out for the Los Angeles Lakers going forward. The team still has a realistic chance of making the playoffs this year, and they definitely became a better team after the deadline.
Still, the Los Angeles Lakers will need LeBron James to be healthy, if they are to truly make some noise this postseason. The superstar is key to everything, and hopefully, LeBron James dominates with the Lakers in the postseason.
