Dana White, the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, is without a question one of the most successful businesspeople in the combat sports sector.
White has shown how to run a global mixed martial arts organization. White has worked from his fingers to the bone for the benefit of the organization. Ever since the 53-year-old set foot in the promotion, the UFC has only tasted success and huge profits. The largest mixed martial arts promotion, according to FanSided, is worth $9 to $10 billion. The president made sure that the promotion expanded constantly.
He has been quite successful in his attempt; just the first four months of 2022 brought in close to $1 billion. Even after the COVID-19 pandemic, which completely upended the world, the UFC continued to enjoy prosperity. The pandemic generated $1 billion in income for the corporation because White made sure that he entertained people when they were facing something deadly.

The audience who gets to see Dana White on the screen might only know him as the powerful boss of the UFC, who decides almost everything that happens in the promotion. However, the #1-ranked bantamweight fighter, Sean O’Malley, finally gave a clear picture of how Dana White is behind the camera.
Dana White; behind the camera
Sean O’Malley was talking on the 225th episode of the Timbo Sugar Show, where he gave an account of how the president behaves behind the camera to the Nelk Boys. The Nelk Boys talked about how White asked them to join in the fight between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. However, since they were engaged with other stuff, they had to turn down the offer from the UFC boss. That’s when O’Malley said one can never say no to the UFC president.
‘Sugar’ said on his YouTube Channel “Dude Dana’s the f**king man. Even cameras off, he is just like intense and just passionate about whatever the f**k he is talking about. He takes it seriously, and he has always got good advice too.” ‘Suga’ made sure that he talked greatly about the boss of the promotion.
How White built the UFC empire
There is no doubt that along with the promotion, the Manchester-born also grew tremendously. In 2019, his net worth was estimated at $500 million. In January 2001, White’s childhood friend Lorenzo Fertitta and his brother Zuffa bought the promotion for $2 million.
White advised them to buy the promotion from the then-owner, Bob Meyrowitz. Later Lorenzo and Zuffa sold the company, however with a nine percent share in the promotion, White decided to stay. Years after, in 2016, when Endeavor bought the UFC, Dana White still remained the only King in the promotion.
