Several people may not have noticed the significant changes that the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend brings in comparison to the previous game.
This year, we have teams like the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Sacramento Kings that have 2 All-Stars at the event. However, we saw a team with 3 All-Stars last season.
The Golden State Warriors had Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green named All-Stars last year, with only Curry being able to make it this year. Steph is not playing due to injury, meaning there is no Warrior on the floor for the game tonight.

Draymond was working the event for TNT and decided to make a comment on how LeBron James is the only player on the court whose resume stacks up to his, talking about the championships they have won.
“There’s one guy on the court who’s resume can stack up. LeBron. We got four of ’em things.”
People are misinterpreting Green’s comments and taking it as an implication from Dray that he and LeBron are on the same plane of overall achievements in the league. It seems Draymond was only talking about championships, as he, Steph, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, and LeBron are the only players with 4 titles currently active in the NBA.
Will Either Of These Players Win Another Ring?
It doesn’t look like people would expect either the Lakers or the Warriors to win the title this season, given how badly their seasons have gone. Golden State has barely been able to keep its record above .500, while the Lakers can’t even reach that stage. However, the talent on the rosters makes everyone wary of what these teams could achieve.
The Warriors are still looked at as one of the hardest playoff outs possible. The Lakers have become feared after trading Russell Westbrook away, with some even claiming the Lakers could be title contenders. It’ll be interesting to see how their seasons play out and which players can claim more titles from this era.
